Prayer and Meditation - Incense Ritual

Thus man flies with the two wings of reason, namely the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil. The knowledge of evil serves the good, the good is sharpened and guided by the knowledge of evil. And so man becomes wise through knowledge. Pure knowledge and pure love are ultimately one. Because both, pure knowledge leads to the same goal as pure love.

If ever I have come from darkness to light, to knowing myself, my duty and destiny. So I owe it to you more than anyone, I owe you more than anyone else, and I owe you the respect. A student to his teacher, yes, a son to his father.

We psychologists of the future - we have little good will for introspection. Taking it almost as a sign of degeneration when an instrument seeks to "know itself". Are instruments of knowledge and want to have all the naivety and precision of an instrument. Consequently, we must not analyze ourselves, must not "know" ourselves. Such is the sad fate of man who has once engaged in evil that he can no longer stand still.

As soon as a doubt arises in him about the nature of his deeds, as soon as he realizes that he is doing wrong. He rushes forward instead of turning back, as if to numb himself and keep away the light of knowledge that rushes in on him. In order to stand still, he would have to calm himself, examine himself, and make a terrifying judgment of himself that no man has ever had the courage to make.
