Down-to-earth Wedding – Day and night spent in flight, they fly in storm and wind, who do you think these birds are?
Prayer and Meditation
Oh you, when your lips touch me, then lust wants to take my soul away. I feel a deep, nameless tremor heave my bosom. My eyes blaze, embers float on my cheeks. The heart beats with an unknown desire. My spirit, lost in drunken lips, stammering can hardly gather itself. In such an hour life hangs on your sweet, rosy mouth.
And almost wants to leave me with your trusty embrace. Oh, that it can't flee beside itself, the soul glow completely in your soul! That the lips that burn with longing must part! But my essence does not melt away in a kiss when it closes so tightly on your mouth and on your heart, which must never dare to beat loudly for me!
Down-To-Earth Wedding Day
White rose that blooms so pale and so fragrant! Love that glows so painfully and so blissfully! What eternal spirit seed the Lord has given me. My whole soul has sunk into it! Plant the rose let me in the dust in front of you. Not for your adornment and pride, but for my delight. Ah, who brings the beautiful days, those days of first love. Who brings back even an hour of that sweet time!
Lonely I feed my wounds, and with repeated lamentations I mourn the lost happiness. Ah, who will bring back the beautiful days, those lovely times! From the oh so sparsely filled bowl of our hearts let us draw love, wherever a soul's bowl always stands empty and thirsts for love. Our bowl will not dry up, the flood thus drawn will rise, not fall. Abundance becomes the lot of the prodigal heart.
